Las Alas sits on 54,000m2 of woodland which absorbs carbon dioxide rather than generates. It has its own borehole, water pump and septic tank. It has solar panels to heat the water and PV solar panels for the electricity so most of the months of the year Las Alas is completely carbon neutral.
