Your Villa in Cala D´ Or

Location

If you wish to enjoy a holidays in a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere enjoying as well as the real rural Majorcan splendour surrounded by natural beauty, Ailen is the house you are looking for as it is set in the quiet rural area called Son Mesquida about 7 km. from the inner town of Felanitx in the south-east of Mallorca. In Felanitx you can find shops, restaurants, cafeterias, visit its bustling market which takes place every Sunday morning or take horse riding lessons in the riding school Son Menut. Approx 20km. we find Porto Colom a charming fishing port where it is still possible to see the fishermen repairing the nets on the dock. It offers pretty sandy beaches, many nice restaurants in water front position and during the summer season you can also practice water sports. Close to Porto Colom there is also a golf course. “Es Trenc”, the largest sandy beach of Majorca with beautiful turquoise water is approx. 20 minutes drive from the villa.

The house

Ailen is a beautiful new construction country house which exterior walls are clad with the rural stone typical of the area and the inside is airy with a mix of rustic and modern. The open living/dining area with a wood-burning stove has access to the lovely covered terrace. The kitchen is spacious, furnished with a modern style and has access to the pool terrace. From the kitchen there is access to the utility room. The house boasts a spacious double bedroomm with an en-suite shower room, dressing area and access to the covered terrace-.There is another double dedroom and a twin bedroom that share a modern designed bathroom.

Outside

The exterior is really nice and relaxing and spacious; at the back of the house there is large and well kept lawned garden with some olive trees, a beautiful designed swimming pool (12m. x 6m. Depth 1.10 – 1.65) with Roman steps where you can take refreshing swim during the warm summery days. You can also relax and sunbathe at reclining sun beds by the pool.
Enjoy the balmy summery evenings sitting at the beautiful covered terrace, relaxing, reading your favourite book or having a nice “al fresco“evening meal cooked at the portable barbeque.

Enclosed in the price are bed linen, towels for the house, tea towels, the final cleaning and other costs (electricity, water, gas).
The first cot and highchair are included in the price. The second cot or chair cost 35€ per week each.
All of the properties provide sun beds for the maximum number of persons allowed in the property.

For the groups of youngsters, a refundable deposit of 300 euros (in cash) will have to be paid upon arrival.
