A wonderful Mallorcan country semidetached house in the beautiful area of Boquer very close to Port Pollensa and its beaches. The villa has been renovated as a holiday home and the work has been done with a great sensitivity to the buildings` original design and decoration. The great mountains at the back make a dramatic backdrop, the villa is cool and rustic with thick stone walls, high beamed ceilings, and original tiled floors. There`s some beautiful antique Mallorcan furniture here, some of it original to the house. On the ground floor there`s a spacious rustic lounge and dining room, which is reached by an exterior doorway. The kitchen combines traditional design with the latest fittings such as electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Double doors lead out onto the barbecue area and exterior terraces with views of the mountains beyond. One exterior full bathroom is also situated neara the barbecue area. The bedrooms are all upstairs and they consists of two twins one of them with an en suite full bathroom and a double bedroom , a further full bathroom complete this upper level of the villa. The garden and pool are really well designed. Stone sun-terraces run round a rectangular pool with plants pots around it. The views from the pool area are amazing overlooking the whole resort of Port Pollensa. Finca Piedra is a really wonderful farm house with lots of historic character. It`s a lovely place for a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a group of friends or family. It`s in some of the most impressive countryside on Mallorca and so it also makes a good base for walking, bird-watching, sketching and cycling.
